Manuscript accepted! Our manuscript entitled "Influence of ankle position and voluntary contraction on Mmax recorded from soleus and tibialis anterior" has been accepted for publication in Muscle and Nerve. Congratulations to Robin Gibbons!! Today Robin rowed the equivalent of 50 km on his FES-adapted indoor rowing machine! To put this in perspective, the English channel is 35.2 km and a running marathon is 42.1 km. In total this year only 165 people worldwide have successfully rowed the marathon distance. Robin's times were 4:02:56 (35.2km), 4:55:46 (42.1km) and 5:49:00 (50km). We look forward to developing our collaboration with Robin (and others) on FES-rowing as Robin continues to push the boundaries!
