Baptist Student Ministries

BSM stands for Baptist Student Ministries. It is an organization made up of students who are seeking
to serve Jesus Christ while they are attending the university. Not all studnets who attend BSM are Baptists, but they all carry the desire to share the love
of Christ with fellow students. BSM's mission is to develop student leaders, who will share Christ's love with the students, faculty and staff of this university

Core Values:

1. We value the bond of fellowship developed
between followers of Jesus Christ as we believe,
love, and serve God. Ephesians 4:1-16

2. We value prayer as an activity of desperately
seeking God, His plan, and power.

3. We value the intentional practice of seeking to understand student culture and to share the love of God. John 1:14, 1 Corinthians 9:19

4. We value discipleship as a transforming activity of making the whole person into a new creation who glorifies God in every action.

5. We value discovering, developing and deploying student leaders to impact Edmonton, Canada and
the world. Matthew 28:18-20

6. We value participatory, passionate, and life
changing worship. Ephesians 5:15-21
