1. Start WinZip.
2. From the File menu, select New Archive prompt.
3. Type the new filename, example, filename.zip.
4. Press Enter.
5. From the Archives menu, select Add prompt.
6. Type the full pathnmame of the file(s) to be zipped, example, C:\DIR\*.*

How to "Unzip" a File

1. Start WinZip.
2. Open the zip.file that is to be unzipped.
3. From the Actions menu, select the Extract prompt.
4. CLick on the Use Folder Names prompt.
5. Type the full name of the directory where the unzipped will be located, example, C:\NEWDIR\
6. Click on Extract.
