about me
First off, welcome to my ePortfolio!
My name is Amanda Schwanke, and I am recent graduate (Spring 2011) of the University of Alberta, where I completed a BSc with a Specialization in Psychology. I have always taken a great interest in the visual arts and have come to appreciate the value of aesthetics not only from an artistic perspective but also for its importance in effective communication and presentation. I am very interested in how indivduals cognitively appraise what they see in the world, and how this affects their behaviour, particularily from a corporate perspective. From this, my fields of interest largely relate to those of communications and advertising (of course with a sprinkle of design!).
I have put together this area as a testament to hard work and motivation- to share with you the highlights of my many accomplishments and provide a somewhat detailed account of my professional competencies.
