Working through this project created more questions than answers. But this is natural as it is the start of my research on polar bears of Foxe Basin. It is troubling that harvesting activities are independent of environmental conditions.
More Questions 1. Will polar bear become more vulnerabile to hunting pressure with continued changes in sea ice conditions? 2. Are communities acting as ecological sinks? If so where are the sources? 3. Is there limited quality sea ice habitat for polar bears? Onward HO!!!
