Organizing Team

Emily is in her fourth year of a BA with combined honours in Mathematics and Linguistics. She has represented the University of Alberta Debate Society at debate tournaments across Canada, as well as at the World Universities Debating Championships, and was the highest ranking UADS debater at Nationals 2009. Emily has judged at a number of tournaments in Western Canada, and was a Chair for the semi-finals at the Western Canadian Championships (McGoun) in 2009. This is currently her third year on the UADS executive (she is the Executive Vice-President); she has also served as VP (West) for the Canadian University Society for Intercollegiate Debate.
