Welcome to the official website of the 2010 National Debating Championships! The University of Alberta Debate Society is delighted to have been selected by the Canadian University Society for Intercollegiate Debate to host Nats 2010, and we are already working hard to ensure that the weekend of March 19-21 will be rewarding, intellectually stimulating and fun.
We invite you to peruse this site to find out more about the Championships, the City of Edmonton and the 2010 Organizing Committee. As the event approaches, this site will identify key details (such as those pertaining to scheduling and hotel booking) and helpful information regarding registration, travel and debate style. We have yet to finalize arrangements for venues for some aspects of the tournament---but this is only because we are in the process of thoroughly investigating all of our options first. You can be assured that as soon as we have settled on the optimal venues and scheduling details, we'll be posting that information here for your convenience.
