You can start Web-based System Manager in the following ways:
To start Web-based System Manager from the Common Desktop Application Manager, select the Application Manager icon on the Front Panel. In the Application Manager window, select System_Admin. In the Application Manager - System_Admin window, select the Web-based System Manager icon. Clicking on the icon opens the launch pad.
System administrators can open individual components directly by selecting their icons in System_Admin or they can open the launch pad. The advantage of the launch pad method is that you can quickly access multiple components. The direct method is faster for accessing a single component.
Note: You can customize your desktop to make the application icons more accessible. For example, you can create a workspace for just your printing applications and place all the icons in that workspace.
If you are running the AIXwindows environment, open an aixterm window. If you are running the Common Desktop Environment (CDE) environment, open a dtterm window.
