Dr. Tian’s research is focused on Prognostics, Predictive maintenance, Wind energy systems, Pipeline integrity management, Reliability, Condition monitoring, Machine learning, and Finite element modeling. His research papers have appeared in Reliability Engineering & System Safety, Renewable Energy, Mechanical Systems and Signal Processing, IEEE Transactions on Reliability and Journal of Intelligent Manufacturing, among others.
