If you have never sailed before or have sailed but couldn't figure out how to make the boat go, you came to the right place. Among our membership is a considerable base of knowledge. Some of our members have so much time and experience on the water that their boat feels like a second body. If that's your goal, we suggest contacting John Henderson. He runs the Northern Alberta Sailing College(NASC). Lessons will run fairly regularly all summer and into the fall at Wabamun lake at both EYC and WSC.

If you think you've got the basics down and want to refine your technique, the race course is the best place to find out how it's done. Most of our membership races fairly competitively, our executive especially being composed of Laser, Radial, and I-14 sailors.
