WHAT IS FIMO?

Fimo is an activity based on the art of sculpting and manipulation of a clay-like substance that is made hard when baked. It comes in bold bright colours and is easily malleable. As a creative activity, it allows for self expression through the numerous projects that can be designed with it. Fimo can be made into a variety of different jewellery, such as necklaces, broaches and earrings. The medium is often used to create decorations such as animal figurines or Christmas ornaments. It can even accent a glass vase. Few tools are required, and all that is needed is a flat surface to work on, an oven to bake the work, a knife to cut the pieces of Fimo, and the Fimo itself.
