Dr Sharon was born and raised in the Netherlands. He trained as a Pediatrician at the Wilhelmina Children’s Hospital in Utrecht, The Netherlands. He subsequently finished 1 year of fellowship in pediatric Oncology at the Alberta Children’s Hospital in Calgary, Alberta. He is married with 3 children, and resides in Edmonton, Alberta.

Dr Sharon is a Clinical Associate Professor at the Stollery Children’s Hospital in Edmonton. He has a general pediatric practice, with special interest in food allergies and obesity.

To have your child be seen by Dr Sharon for the first time, you will need a referral from another doctor (eg family physician).
