VizRoom Opening
January 17, 7 pm
The grand opening of the new University of Alberta visualization facility (VizRoom) will be held on Jan. 27, 1999 starting at 7 p.m. in room 619, General Services Building. The main component of this facility is an immersive virtual reality system known as a CaveT. Tours of this facility will be available after 8 p.m. on Jan. 27, and from 2 - 5 p.m. on Jan. 28 in room 602, General Services Building. University Teaching Services (UTS) would like to invite all faculty, sessionals and graduate students to attend our Teaching and Learning Effectiveness Sessions which start on Monday, January 25, 1999 and run most afternoons (Monday to Thursday) until March 18, 1999.
All sessions are free of charge.
