Pakistani Students' Association at the University of Alberta

As-Salaam-Alaikum,

The University of Alberta Pakistani Students' Association (PSA) exists to represent Pakistani students enrolled in the University of Alberta (UOFA) and to promote Pakistan and its culture on campus and in the wider Edmonton community. It aims to provide and maintain their connection with their roots. It also serves as a platform for Pakistani students to come together at the UOFA in an accepting, supportive and friendly environment; meeting people from different communities and engaging in activities where they can educate others about Pakistan.

In addition, the association provides a platform for promoting UOFA to Pakistanis by introducing it to them, counsel the prospective students and mentors the fresh ones. PSA envisions the strong academic collaboration between the Pakistani institutes and UOFA. This is in keeping with the nation’s manifesto of enabling its youth to take on the challenges of a changing global ecosystem.

Pakistan is proud of her youth, particularly the students, who are nation builders of tomorrow. They must fully equip themselves by discipline, education, and training for the arduous task lying ahead of them.
