Memorandum of Agreement
The parties hereby agree that any changes, amendments or additions to the new collective agreement (eg., Article 1 and 2) were not intended to change the interpretation and current application (or nonapplication) of the definition of service in regards to temporary employees twelve months or less. As per Article 2, employees twelve months or less do not have access to Article 20. Currently, breaks in appointments or departments by temporary employees result in an abrogation of the establishment of service. The parties agree that differences have arisen over the current interpretation of service, therefore, the parties agree that they shall meet post-ratification of the new collective agreement to discuss further issues of service.
