Instructor: Paul Cartledge
Office: CAB 409
E-mail: pdc2 at ualberta.ca
Office hours: Mon/Thu: 6 – 7 PM in CAB 243, or by appointment.
Textbook: The Statistical Sleuth: A Course in Methods of Data Analysis (Custom 3rd Edition) by Ramsey and Schafer, Duxbury.
Prerequisite: STAT 141 or 151 or equivalent. It is extremely important that you have a strong grasp of the material in Stat 141 or 151 as there will be limited time for review.
Here is a checklist of what you should know from STAT 141 or 151.
I strongly encourage all Stat 252 students to go through the checklist to make sure that you in fact have the prerequisite knowledge.
This is especially important for those of you who took Stat 141 or 151 from another institution or for those who have taken some other class which you think is an equivalent to STAT 141 or 151.
