Classrooms in urban Canada are landscapes of cultural difference. This video engages the question of what it means to teach in such classrooms. It was produced as a collaborative action research project between the Secondary Teacher Education program at the University of Alberta and McDougall, St. Catherine and Harry Ainlay schools in Edmonton.

The project was jointly sponsored by Canadian Heritage (Multiculturalism Branch) and the Prairie Centre of Excellence for Research on Immigration and Integration.
