Co-Directors

The Centre shall be managed by a Director or by Co-Directors. The Director (Co-Directors) is (are) the chief executive officer(s) of the Centre, reporting to the Board of Governors.

The Director (Co-Director) is appointed for the duration of the Centre Funds; should the Director (Co-Director) resign, or a two-thirds majority of all the voting members of the Board of Governors vote to replace the Director (Co-Director), the Board of Governors shall appoint a replacement.

The Director (Co-Director) is responsible for:

  • providing scholarly leadership and direction to the Centre;
  • chairing the Domain Research Committee;
  • chairing the Adjudication Committee;
  • providing appropriate progress and financial reports for the Board of Governors;
  • promoting research collaboration among Centre Participants;
  • acting on behalf of the Centre with the Sponsors and with the other Centres;
  • promoting the Centre to the academic community, to policy-makers, and to the general public;
  • managing the Administrative Centre, with the assistance of such employees as may be necessary;
  • recruiting and appointing Administrative Centre employees.
