Earle Waugh became an affiliate at the outset of the Prairie Metropolis Centre, when he was Professor of Religious Studies and Chair of Modern Languages and Cultural Studies.  His work at that time was focused on religious studies, with a strong emphasis on cultural practices in the Islamic world.   More

 

Book Release

Research Proposals

The Prairie Centre welcomes applications for grants for the fiscal year 2009-2010 (Winter) from all PMC Research Affiliates.  Please be advised that the deadline for receipt of the grant applications will be January 29, 2010 (it was formerly April 30).  No exceptions will be allowed.  The Research Grant Application package is on our website at:http:www.pmc.metropolis.net .

PMC Travel Grant

The PMC has some funding available for travel for research affiliates, graduate students, and non-governmental organization partners to participate in the 12th

National Metropolis Conference that will be held  March 18 to 21, 2010 in Montreal. The deadline to receive applications is January 25, 2010
