My book Banach-Mazur Distances and Finite-Dimensional Operator Ideals was originally published in 1989 by Longman Scientific & Technical. In a hardcopy form is for a long time out of print. I was asked many times if an on-line copy could be provided.

The publishing house Pearson Education Limited, which aquired my original publisher, kindly agreed to revert to me the text rights.
