My research interest is in Banach space theory. I
am interested in finite-dimensional spaces and properties of Banach
spaces which depend on the structure of their finite-dimensional
subspaces. A closely related direction is a study of affine invariants
of convex symmetric bodies. The techniques vary from some quite
elementary but clever methods from operator ideals theory to
sophisticated methods from probability theory and integral geometry.
I am also interested in geometry of
infinite-dimensional convex bodies, the area which gains momentum at
present time.
