Peer
Review of Products
Back
to Assignments
In this activity
you will review a peer's project/activity and your projects/activities
will also be reviewed. A review form will be
used during each review.
When Reviewing Work:
-
Use
the review form to provide feedback (not evaluate) a peer's project/activities.
-
Help
him/her clarify the goals and objectives of the project and to produce
a template.
-
Each
person gets at least 15 minute so make sure you get your questions
answered in that time frame.
When Having your Work Reviewed:
-
Start
by giving your peers copies of your activities and present your ideas
to the group; answer any questions they might have of the activities.
-
Give
some time for them to look it over in silence and jot down notes/questions
and feedback.
-
You
probably have had your doubts/questions about the assignment, raise
these with the other group members (e.g. would you consider this a
higher cognitive level activity? Is the technology being used to support
the curriculum? Pedagogically, does this activity make effective use
of technology or does it seem too contrived/forced?).
-
You
probably would want some feedback on the assessment of the activities.
-
Brainstorm
with your group some of the rubric statements that could be used.
-
You
should be taking notes so you won't forget the suggestions.
You
will also review each person's final presentation.
After
the last presentation you will hand in all of your review forms.
