One of our missions is to enrich student life and organize some fun events so people can take a break from lab work and socialize with fellow students. We also represent neuroscience students within the GSA.

Once a year, the NGSA organizes Neuroscience Research Day. On this day, usually in November, all neuroscience graduate students have the opportunity to present their research and discuss their work with fellow students and faculty members.

The NGSA is an official on-campus Student Union at the U of A. We meet once a month at the Good Earth Coffee House and newcomers/volunteers from among the neuroscience graduate folks are most welcome to join anytime!
