General Meeting and Elections

Well, everyone... as finals and the end of the year approach, there's one thing that still remains before another year swings to a halt.  We're holding our final General Meeting of the year on Thursday, March 30, 2006 at 6:00 PM in CW-413 (the conference room adjacent to the Cafeteria, where we held Meet the Prof Night).  Doors will open at 5:30 PM and we'll be buying the pizza and pop for members.  After everyone's settled in, we'll get the meeting rolling.  One important thing that we'll be doing though is the elections of next year's executive.

We ask that those people interested in running submit a completed nomination form (don't worry about the dates on the form) to a member of the executive or slide it under the door of the office in M-140A by 5 PM or so on Thursday, March 23, 2006 (to allow time for production of ballots).  Those people running will have the opportunity to sway the voters with a short speech before the election and hopefully we'll have time to carry out the count and post the results before the end of the night.

Best of luck in the home stretch and we hope to see a lot of you come out for one last time before the final push.

Other Articles

The MBSA constitution has been reposted, as well as the nomination forms for elections, for those who are interested.  It is an old form, but the last two pages are the most important.
