Statistics Canada - Recent reports and survey results on many facets of Canadian society.
CanWorkNet - a creation of Human Resources Development Canada; an excellent source of info on labour markets, workplaces, career planning, workplace trends, and finding a job.
Human Resources Development Canada - different from above, and includes recent policy statements including "The 21st century employment system for Canada."
Canadian Human Rights Commission - details of federal Employment Equity initiatives, and on-line journal called Human Rights Forum.
Industry Canada - This is Industry Canada's very popular and useful site on business and industry information, including original research, human resource and training information, and information for starting and doing business.

International

National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (US) - federal US agency that researches and makes recommendations regarding prevention of work-related illnesses and injuries.
US Bureau of Labor Statistics - Key source for US labour and employment statistics, with links to many other US government statistical sites.
Canada and NAFTA - Analysis and updates on North American Free Trade Agreement from Canada's Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade.
Asia Pacific Management Forum - Networking, news, research and information on organizations, businesses and management in the Asia-Pacific region.
Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development - Research on work, working conditions, labour standards, employment, new technology.
European Trade Union Bulletin - Useful source for up-to-date information on unions, industrial relations, labour and employment law, and working conditions in Europe.

The Question Bank - This site provides useful social survey data for the United Kingdom and has helpful information on research methodology.
