International Symposium on 50th Anniversary of the Peng-Robinson Equation

About the Symposium

Published in 1976, the Peng–Robinson equation of state revolutionized chemical engineering and phase equilibrium calculations. To mark the 50th anniversary of this landmark contribution to thermodynamics, the Department of Chemical and Materials Engineering at the University of Alberta is hosting a one-day international symposium.

This event brings together leading global researchers, industry pioneers, and academic scholars to discuss modern advances, challenges, and future perspectives across modern thermodynamics disciplines.
