Maintenance
Mechanical, hydraulic
and electrical works need to be checked up at a certain interval.
Checked items and its proper period vary depending on the type and
size of the machine. As an example, the followings are checked up
annually for Taisei centrifuge.
1) Mechanical
aspect
- any slight damage
on the centrifuge itself, capsulating wall and containers
- unbalance of the
beam
- wear of
bearings
- wear of reduction
gears
- safety management
system
2) Hydraulic
aspect
- quality and
quantity of lubrication oil
- wear and leak of
hydraulic pipes
- blocking of
valves
- calibration of
the shaking table
3) Electrical
aspect
- wear of brushes
of sliprings
- overhaul of
on-board electrical packages
