Golden Key Graduate Scholar Award
Deadline: January 20Each year, Golden Key selects 12 outstanding members to receive a Golden Key Scholar Award of $10,000, which supports post-baccalaureate study at accredited universities around the world.
GEICO Life Scholarships
Deadline: April 1Ten $1,000 awards recognize outstanding members who achieve academic success while balancing multiple other commitments such as family and/or career.
Business Achievement Awards
Deadline: March 1A scholarship award recognizing excellence in the study of business. A total of three scholarships will be awarded $1,000, $750 and $500.
Education Achievement Awards
Deadline: March 1A scholarship rewarding excellence in the study of education. A total of three scholarships will be awarded $1,000, $750 and $500.
Engineering/Technology Achievement Awards
Deadline: March 1A scholarship recognizing excellence in the study of engineering or technology. A total of three scholarships will be awarded: $1,000, $750 and $500.
Literary Achievement Awards
Deadline: April 1These awards recognize the literary talents of Golden Key members in four categories - fiction, non-fiction, poetry and news writing. The winner in each category will receive $1,000 and will be published in CONCEPTS.
Visual and Performing Arts Achievements Award
Deadline: April 1A $500 scholarship will be awarded for excellence in visual and performing arts for each of the following 10 categories: painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, computer-generated art, mixed media, instrumental performance, vocal performance, and dance.
GK Undergraduate Research Grants
Deadlines: October 15 and April 15A total of 10 $500 awards are presented each year (three in October, seven in April), allowing members to conduct their research or to present their research at professional conferences or symposia. Winners may also use this award to pay for non-travel related research expenses (i.e. for equipment).
GK Chapter Service Grant
Deadline: October 15This program recognizes Golden Key chapters who conduct education-focused service initiatives. Chapters must submit a proposal to Golden Key requesting funding for programs. As many as 10 $500 grants may be awarded.
GK Community Service Award
Deadline: March 1This program recognizes one Golden Key member for outstanding service to his/her community. $250 will be awarded to the Golden Key member and $250 will be awarded to the service organization of the winner’s choice.
Golden Key Advisor Professional Development Grant
Deadline: April 15This $1,000 grant provides funding for one Golden Key advisor to attend a professional development or research related conference.
Student Leader Awards
Deadline: See GK websiteThe Regional Student Leader Awards recognize one Golden Key member in each Golden Key region for outstanding leadership. Each winner receives a $500 award and is forwarded as a candidate for the prestigious International Student Leader Award. The International Student Leader Award recognizes one exceptional Golden Key member for outstanding leadership. The award is $1, 000.
Study Abroad Scholarships
Deadlines: October 15 and April 15Ten $1,000 awards are presented each year to assist members interested in studying abroad (three in October, seven in April).
