I am currently working as a postdoctoral researcher with Dr. Thomas Mölg in the Climate System Research Group at FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg. My research is focused on evaluating the impact of the El Niño-Southern Oscillation on high-mountain climates.

I completed my PhD under the supervision of Dr. Andrew Bush at the University of Alberta in the Department of Earth & Atmospheric Sciences. My PhD research was developing an interactively coupled regional climate and glacier modelling system including a treatment of surficial debris for applications in alpine environments. The model was applied to simulating the energy and mass-balance  dynamics of glaciers in the Karakoram region of the northwestern Himalaya.
