Research Interests: The essence of my research program focuses on the understanding of the physical properties of earth materials. The novelty of this program is that we address these issues in both the laboratory and the field. Recent field projects have taken the group to Africa, Antarctica, Europe, and New Zealand in addition to numerous locations in Canada and the U.S.
