Getting There
Getting to the Summer Institute Site:
The Summer Institute will be held in the Biological Sciences Building on the University of Alberta campus. The registration site and primary meeting room will be P226 on the second floor of the Biological Sciences Building in the wing that houses the Department of Psychology. A campus map is available here, along with a downloadable PDF file.
  • Participants coming from the Lister Centre on campus are encouraged to walk straight north on 116th Street, turn right on Saskatchewan Drive, and enter through the northwest entrance to the Biological Sciences Building.
  • Participants coming from the Delta Hotel are encouraged to take the LRT (light rapid transit) across the Saskatchewan River to the University (use the HUB Mall exit from University Station), walk straight north from the LRT station, turn left on Saskatchewan Drive, and enter through the northeast entrance to the Biological Sciences Building.

There is quite a bit of construction on campus this summer; so, other routes through the heart of campus can be more complicated. Nonetheless, for those who would like to meander, here is a map that marks the construction sites and the pathways around them.
