Corbett Hall, named for E.A. Corbett, the first Director of the Faculty of Extension, is a modern Renaissance structure opened in 1929 as the Edmonton Normal School and was the centre for teacher training in the province of Alberta. In 1988, the building underwent extensive renovations to the interior and restoration to its original quality of the exterior. Now home to the Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine, which has the distinction of being the only Rehabilitation Medicine Faculty in Canada to have its own building.
