CHARLEBOIS LAB

Antimicrobial Resistance | Biophysics | Magnetobiology

Our fundamental and translational research at the interface of physics and biology advances our quantitative understanding of living systems and aims to eliminate antimicrobial (drug) resistance. We develop physics-based mathematical/computational/machine learning models, engineer magnetic field devices, and perform experiments on genetically engineered and pathogenic yeasts. The Charlebois biosafety level 2 biophysics-microbiology laboratory is located in the Centennial Center for Interdisciplinary Science at the University of Alberta in Canada.
