CHARLEBOIS LAB

Antimicrobial Resistance | Biophysics | Magnetobiology

Our research at the interface of physics and biology advances our fundamental understanding of living systems and develops technologies and treatments to elimintate the growing problem of antimicrobial (drug) resistance. We develop physics-based mathematical/computational/machine learning models and perform experiments on genetically engineered and pathogenic yeasts. The Charlebois biosafety level 2 biophysics-microbiology laboratory is located in the Centennial Center for Interdisciplinary Science at the University of Alberta in Canada.
