Dear Editor

The article by Chitme et al. (1) has reported the anti-diarrhoeal property of Calotropis gigantea, a plant of the same family as Calotropis procera reported by us (2). The authors have followed the same study design highlighted in our paper and appeared to have copied some parts of our text. They, however, have failed to acknowledge our work. This, I find unjust to both the authors of the original work and the readers of the Chitme et al's paper.
