CSPS Awards and Annual Symposium, 8 - 10 June, 2000

The Canadian Society for Pharmaceutical Sciences 3rd Annual Symposium took place at the Crowne Plaza Hotel Georgia in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, on June 8, 9, and 10, 2000. The theme of this year's symposium was "Technology Transfer: From Bench To Market", and was attended by 160 scientists, industry leaders, and students. Twenty-two speakers shared their expertise on topics covering "Concept to Market", Research to Prototype", "Preclinical Development" and "Clinical Testing and Regulatory Affairs". Twenty-four poster presenters shared their vision and six exhibitors shared their wares.

Awards were presented by Dr. Fakhreddin Jamali, President of CSPS.
