Paper Two

Read Augustus' Res Gestae in HAR 322-330 and write a 2 page paper (max. 700 words) indicating who the audience is to whom the work is addressed. That is, who do you think Augustus had in mind as the readers of the work? You should base your argument solely on your own reading of the text, which is to be cited in support of your argument, and you should not consult outside sources. This paper is due in class on March 9.
