Accreditation and Study Credits
The Division of Continuing Medical Education at the University of Alberta is fully accredited by the Committee on Accreditation of Canadian Medical Schools (CACMS) and the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) of the United States to sponsor continuing medical education for physicians. This program meets the accreditation criteria of the College of Family Physicians of Canada and has been accredited for 11 MAINPRO-MI credits. This education event is also approved as an Accredited Group Learning Activity under Section 1 of the Framework of CPD options for the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.

MAINPRO-C Satellite Symposium - Accreditation
This program was developed by the Office of Continuing Medical Education & Professional Development at the University of Calgary and is provided through the aid of an unrestricted educational grant from AstraZeneca Canada Inc.. University of Calgary, Office of Continuing Medical Education is fully accredited by the Committee of Accreditation of Canadian Medical Schools and by reciprocity through the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education of the United States to sponsor medical education for physicians. This program meets the accreditation criteria of the College of Family Physicians of Canada and has been accredited for 2.0 MAINPRO-C credits.

 

Accommodation
Registrants must make their own arrangements for accommodation. Special room rates are available at The Westin Hotel for $98 per night plus applicable taxes. Please call 780-426-3636 before March 11, 2003 and quote "Internal Medicine Conference".

Parking (parking pass available ON-SITE)
Free self-parking available at The Library Parkade, 17 Sir Winston Churchill Square. Enter off 100th Street across The Westin Hotel (north side of the avenue). Lot attendant will allow you to exit with no charge when presented with dispenser stub & CME Parking Pass. Pass NOT required to enter parkade. NO in/out privileges.

Cancellation/Refund Policy
Cancellations must be received in writing along with the original receipt of payment before April 10, 2003 and will be subject to a $50 processing fee. No refunds will be considered after April 10, 2003. The University of Alberta reserves the right to cancel or postpone a course due to insufficient registration, or circumstances beyond our control.
