Accreditation and Study Credits
The Division of Continuing Medical Education at the University of Alberta is fully accredited by the Committee on Accreditation of Canadian Medical Schools (CACMS) and the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) of the United States to sponsor continuing medical education for physicians.
This education event is approved as an Accredited Group Learning Activity under Section 1 of the Framework of CPD options for the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
This program meets the accreditation criteria of the College of Family Physicians of Canada and has been accredited for 9.5 MAINPRO-MI credits.
The Alberta College of Pharmacists has approved this course for 11.5 credits.

Registrants must make their own arrangements for accommodation. Preferred University of Alberta room rates are available at the Campus Tower Suite Hotel for $89 per night plus applicable taxes. Parking (parking pass required)
Free parking is available at the Timms Centre Underground Parkade but cannot be guaranteed after the registration deadline. Enter off of 112th Street and approximately 88th Avenue and park in the northeast corner of parkade. The parking attendant may assign overflow parking.

Cancellation/Refund Policy

Cancellations must be received in writing along with the original receipt of payment before November 7, 2002 and will be subject to a $50 processing fee. No refunds will be considered after November 7, 2002. The University of Alberta reserves the right to cancel or postpone a course due to insufficient registration, or circumstances beyond our control.
