Starting with the 2001 volume, there will be two additional issues of the journal Current Sociology per year devoted to SSIS monograph issues. These will be in addition to the four established issues of CS and the SSIS book series which will continue.

This initiative will provide an important publications outlet for the edited collections from Research Committees and Research Council conferences and ISA World Congress meetings. All proposals will be refereed and/or considered under competitive review.
