Hello, I am currently serving as President for the Arts Students' Association. As President, I act as a liaison with the Faculty Administration. It is my responsibility to represent the Arts students on a number of Faculty committees such as the Taskforce for Writing Skills and Writing Instruction as well as the Students’ Union Council of Faculty Associations (CoFA). New this year is our involvement with the Community Service Learning project. I will be sitting on their board and working on their committees. Some ASA events you can look forward to this year include a charity night featuring student artistry, Oktoberfest, Arts Week, etc.
If you are a first-year student, you can see me speaking at the Orientation Arts information session. Come and meet me on Tuesday, Sept. 6 between 3:30-4:45pm in TL-11.
I will be posting office hours soon, look for those on this website or outside our office (2-10 Humanities Centre). Please feel free to come by for an SU handbook or a locker or to ask any questions you might have. We always welcome volunteers, so if you are interested in getting involved in any capacity this year we’d love to get an email or visit from you. I look forward to representing you this year.
