Lesson plans: critical self-assessment

In my portfolio I have included three plans of the lessons, which I taught and which I perceive as the most successful in this term. Here I will provide a brief description of how this class went and how it could be improved.

First lesson plan (16th of October, 2006)
how the class went how it could be improved
In general it went well.
The only problem we encountered with was the shock, which the student got from the facing with the authentic Russian material: they told me they did not understand a word in the song we were listening to.
Maybe the song for Russian 111 could be easier: with more simple words and with a more obvious lyric plot in it.

Second lesson plan (29th of October, 2006)
how the class went how it could be improved
I cannot complain about this class either: the students asked me a lot of questions and showed a great interest in the topic we were focusing on. We had problems with time. We had to finish reading the text because it was time to finish the class.
The improvement would be either not to start reading at all or to cut some previous activities in order to save some time for the last activity.

Third lesson plan (8th of November, 2006)
how the class went how it could be improved
I was very satisfied with the students' performance over the course of this class. They worked actively and participated willingly in all the activities I offered them.
The students did what I expected them to do and drawing on their reaction it seems that this time I did what they expected me to do as well.
It is difficult to say because there were no misunderstandings or miscommunications at this lesson. May be it is not very good but I would not change anything in this particular class; I liked the way it was.
