The UMSGIFImageReader object is an Ultimedia Services Version 2.1.4 feature and does not apply to earlier versions of Ultimedia Services.
The GIF image reader supports all UMS image reader base methods, and it does not have any unique methods. The UMS image reader base methods are available in UMSImageReader Object .
The GIF image reader supports the reading of interlaced GIF images; such images are automatically deinterlaced by the image reader.
The UMS Media Player can output images in the GIF format, but only as noninterlaced images.
