July 5, 2012 - Special Issue of CJChE
A special issue of the CJChE journal will be published following the conference that will include papers from the conference. Author guidelines can be found here. Submission deadline is September 30, 2012.
There will be more information available on Wednesday, August 29 at 4:45 pm.

First Call for Papers
The Oilsands 2012 Conference will be held at the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada and will cover all aspects of Oilsands processing.
Extraction: including slurry preparation, hydrotransport,
bitumen separation, ore processability, froth treatment, tailing and recycle water management.
Upgrading: including bitumen chemistry, low cost hydrogen production, bitumen conversion, energy efficiency, gasification, and hydrotreating product quality.
Abstracts for research presentations and posters are solicited at this time. Short abstracts, 200-250 words, are due by Thursday, May 31, 2012.
Notification of acceptance will be forwarded by Saturday, June 30, 2012.
A list of abstracts with all accepted posters and oral presentations will be prepared prior to the conference and distributed from the conference web site following the conference.
