Our Mission

The University of Alberta ALS clinic is a multidisciplinary clinic dedicated to the care of patients with ALS and other motor neuron disorders. Diagnostic services, education, treatment, rehabilitation, and research are coordinated through staff at the Edmonton Clinic and the Misericordia Hospital.

To provide exemplary care and enable people with ALS and their families to achieve the best possible quality of life, deliver professional and compassionate interdisciplinary medical expertise, and foster an environment where ALS is viewed as a treatable and manageable condition.

Our team of specialists includes: neurologists, a physiatrist, respirologist, registered nurse, respiratory therapist, social worker, speech-language pathologist, dietician, occupational therapist, physical therapist, and clinical research coordinator.

Access to Edmonton Clinic and Parkade: Off of University Avenue and 115 Street.

Drop off: Located at the main entrance (east side) of the building.

The parkade elevators will take you to Level 1 and 2 of the Edmonton Clinic. To reach other levels in the Edmonton Clinic you must use the main elevators at the east entrance which are accessed through the corridor from the parkade entrance.
